For entertainment, our Field Agent Stephen Regan, will be hosting a simulated horse racing event for a chance to win a few large prizes. Whether you have been to a horse race or not, it will be a great time!
This year, included in the full ticket price, we will have a drawing for a $2,500 scholarship to one of our local Catholic schools Holy Rosary, St Joseph, St Edwards, or St Pius (high schools are not included). The winner of this prize can name a specific student at one of these schools OR give it to the priest of that parish for a family that needs a little assistance. Money will be sent directly to the school of choice.
Prices for the tickets are as follows:
Full ticket (includes entry into the event) = $125 for a couple
Extra scholarship raffle only tickets (entry not included) = $75 each
Tickets will be available for purchase next week. We will send out additional details on purchasing locations very soon!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2019 Knight of Columbus Kid’s Halloween Party another entertaining and fun filled evening!
While there were many people that made the event possible, I would like to recognize a few people that went “above and beyond”:
Paul Bateman – Decorations
Jody Sanders – Chef
Johnny Crumby – Chef
This event was also made possible by many of our great donors:
Tennessee Pipe and Supply
Many Brother Knights of 4972 that personally donated candy, prizes, and food for the event
We look forward to starting the plans on next year’s event and hope to see everyone again!

Our Lady Help
of Persecuted Christians
A Higher Purpose
Spread devotion to Our Lady and pray for our brothers and sisters of faith who are at risk around the world through the Marian Prayer Program. As the new Marian image is brought on pilgrimage, Holy Rosary will host the Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians icon for a prayer service starting at 6:30 PM on May 28th. This Prayer Service is for the entire parish.
The 2018-2019 Marian Prayer Program presents the 18th Marian image sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, this time of Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians. Each Knights of Columbus jurisdiction receives several Marian images, which serve as the centerpieces for prayer services conducted in churches and council meeting places throughout the Order for the duration of the initiative. Since its inception in 1979, the Knights of Columbus’ Marian Prayer Program has held more than 166,900 local council and parish prayer services with some 20 million participants. This year, the prayer service is intended to raise awareness of the plight of Christians persecuted for their faith and to stand in prayerful solidarity with them.
Thank you for attending our 2019 Casino Night! This fundraiser is critical to enable Council 4972 to continue to support our clergy, Church of the Holy Rosary, Holy Rosary Academy, and other people and charities in our local community!
We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for providing items for our auctions and raffle prizes! Please visit these sponsors and thank them for supporting our Knights of Columbus Council!
We would like to extend a special “Thank you!” to these sponsors for assisting to offset the costs of the gaming tables at the event:
- Music City Chorus
- Jim Painter Family
- Jimmy Beckman Family
Our annual fundraiser is coming up on April 27. We are once again doing a Casino Night theme. Tickets are ready for purchase. They are available at the Clubhouse and at Robin’s Gallery.
Tickets are once again $100 for a couple and include dinner, game play at the casino tables, and access to the silent auctions. Tickets are limited, so get yours today!
Please join us as we host our annual Holy Rosary Mass and Lenten Fish Fry night. To give parishioners time to travel from the Church after Stations of the Cross, we will begin Mass around 6:30 PM at the K of C Hall. A fish fry dinner will follow Mass. We will host Mass and dinner each night of Lent through April 12. We will not host Mass and dinner on Good Friday.
Please remember to call the club (615-883-4972) if you want red snapper. Limited quantities available.
40 Cans for Lent
Holy Rosary is doing a food drive during Lent this year. It is called 40 Cans for Lent. The idea is simple. Your family commits to bringing 1 can, or other non-perishable food item, of food for each day of Lent. All food collected will go directly to our local Second Harvest Food Bank and benefit people in the Donelson and Hermitage areas. Please consider bringing at least a few items each week. There are Second Harvest Food Bank collection boxes at the back of church in the narthex. There are additional boxes at the Knights of Columbus hall if you are headed over there. Please be generous and help refill our local food bank now the holiday season is over!
